The first 200MP camera phone in the world is released!
When it comes to announcing new smartphones with incredible photography specifications, Motorola has recently been very busy. The Motorola Razr 2022(opens in new tab), the company's flagship foldable, was unveiled last week at a massive Motorola event in China, along with the mid-range Moto S30 Pro and the widely expected Moto X30 Pro, the first smartphone in the world to include a 200MP camera.
200MP camera setup on the Moto X30 Pro
Let's start with the Moto X30 Pro's camera system, which is unquestionably its crowning achievement and has the first 200MP primary camera in the globe, as Motorola announced last year. Samsung's ISOCELL HP1, a 1/1.22-inch sensor with an f/1.95 aperture, OIS, and 16-in-1 pixel binning, is featured in the new phone. ChameleonCell is a brand-new imaging technology.
Depending on the scene, ChameleonCell permits switching between two-by-two, four-by-four, and full pixel layouts. As a result, the Moto X30 Pro can snap images with a resolution of 12.5 MP in low light, as well as 50 MP photos with 1.28 M pixels and 200 MP photos with 0.64 M pixels. This primary camera can also record 8K video at 30 frames per second.
Specifications for the Moto X30 Pro
The Moto X30 Pro's record-breaking camera system is only one of several top-notch features. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage are all examples of high-end hardware.
The X30 Pro's 6.67-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED screen has HDR10+ and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Additionally, it has a built-in, under-display fingerprint reader for device unlocking.
125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging are supported by the 4,610 mAh battery. Running on top of Android 12 is MyUI 4.0 on the Moto X30 Pro.
Price and accessibility of the Moto X30 Pro
The Moto X30 Pro, which comes in black and white, was only recently introduced in China. The Moto Edge 30 Ultra is rumored to be the name given to the phone when it launches globally later this year. The Moto X30 Pro is available locally for 3,699 yuan (about $548) for the base 8GB+128GB model, 4,199 yuan (about $623) for the 12GB+256GB model, and $4,499 yuan (about $668) for the largest 12GB+512GB model.
