Punjab is the first province to adopt Web3 technology.

On Monday, a unique website was opened to allow Punjabi scholars, scientists, and IT industry professionals to register as Web3 contributors.

Through the platform, national and international businesses using Web3 technology will also be able to provide their insightful input.

The portal was unveiled at the first meeting of the powerful committee Parvez Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, had assembled to discuss the adoption of Web3 in the region. Punjab Information Technology (IT) Minister Dr. Arslan Khalid and Finance Minister Mohsin Leghari presided over the meeting, which was held at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP).

The provincial finance minister gave his opinion on the matter, stating that full adoption of Web3 would result in more job opportunities, which would spur economic growth and an increase in GDP.

"The new technology will primarily benefit tourism, education, government services, retail, and real estate," he continued.

Blockchain, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, according to the Punjab IT minister, are the foundation of Web3 and give internet users more personalization and security.

"The adoption of Web3 in the province would promote more interaction between various users and websites, enabling them to get content from several sources simultaneously, without having to leave the website they are browsing at any point in time," he added.

Syed Bilal Haider, the chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), expressed optimism about the development and stated that Web3 will allow PITB to purchase lounges in the metaverse to hold meetings and execute contracts. He stated that citizens would be able to communicate with the government through the metaverse.

He added that payments could also be made in the form of NFTs with the help of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in implementing the Web3 ecosystem.

In order to give players an immersive experience, Pakistan's first metaverse, TCCM, is developed on Unreal Engine 5, the most potent engine. It combines cutting-edge visuals, hyperrealistic environments, and excellent visual design with music, lighting, animation, and other features.

This expands on what TCCM already offers, which is a synthesis of web3 and NFTs, a full metaverse with integrated economic functions, launching you into a parallel virtual world of digital identity, and a blockchain-based ecosystem.

Users and players can own their own virtual land in Cloud City, build structures and rent them out, form guilds, store NFT assets, play P2E games, and monetize their experience there.

Although it will be free to play, users can choose to buy NFTs to customise and control their assets.

This is the first platform in the nation where user-generated material will be highly valued and where users will have total control over their content.

TCCM is poised to become a ground-breaking technology for a wide range of industries, including fintech, education, health, construction, and a plethora of other verticals.

Pakistan will be pitted against the biggest tech companies in the world for the first time.

The blockchain and game development studio NARSUN Studios, which powers TCCM, has been working in the most fascinating area right now: the gamification of blockchain and NFTs.

The development and deployment of smart contracts, the creation of unique NFT marketplaces, the creation of the metaverse, the creation of wallets and the implementation of play-to-win games are all things that NARSUN specialises in.

Umer Abbas, co-founder of TCCM and founder of NARSUN Studios, spoke with us about the initiative and stated, "My team and I have been working on web3 projects for a while now, but it was time we did something for our country too.

"We want to increase chances for our nation and educate our people about the beauty of our environment. The world will see this as proof that Pakistan is not technologically illiterate, despite the country's longstanding reputation as such, he continued.
