Emirates is introducing 'Sara,' the world's first robotic airport check-in system.

The first robotic check-in system, Sara, will be introduced this year at Dubai Airports by Emirates, a Dubai-based carrier. At least six different dialects will be supported by the system, making it usable by tourists from various nations.

According to Ade Redha, a spokeswoman for Emirates, Sara will help travelers with everything from check-in to hotel reservations. He added that although traveler needs are constantly expanding, airport conditions stay unchanged. Emirates believes that Sara will help it better serve its customers by utilizing technology.

Emirates and its allies worked together to create the robotic check-in system. It will be made nearby. Over the next few years, more than 200 of these devices will be operational in Dubai Airports, according to Redha.

This technology's introduction will be a move toward digitizing air travel. Due to the pandemic, airports and airlines are scrambling to find novel approaches to lessen bodily contact and offer a contactless travel experience. The check-in robot will be able to help passengers in a variety of ways, an Emirates spokesperson said. Now, this covers everything from check-in for passengers to lodging reservations, etc.

The Emirates spokesperson explained that the company decided to construct "Sara" after realizing that while traveler requirements are constantly expanding, airports have not changed. Emirates has now risen to service customers using effective technology as a result.

The check-in robot was developed by Emirates in partnership with its partners, who will make about 200 of them and install them at all Dubai airports over the course of the following year.
