TikTok Series Enables Makers to Profit


 



The leading platform for short-form video is TikTok. While YouTube's Shorts and Reels on Facebook/Instagram have made an effort to combat TikTok's hegemony, none have been successful.



TikTok Series has been revealed as a new feature for creators to monetize their content. The app is constantly adding new features that are advantageous to both platform users and content creators. The new system will boost the income of producers.


TikTok Series gives artists the ability to post videos as a part of a collection or series that will only be available to paying subscribers. Since longer videos can now be uploaded, this function stands out from the rest.



With the TikTok Series, creators will be able to upload movies up to 20 minutes long instead of the platform's current 10-minute limit. Each collection also has a maximum capacity of 80 videos, giving creators the chance to create and display brief web series on their profiles.


TikTok Series is unquestionably a useful tool for creators, but the platform recognises the possibility of misuse and has thus limited the feature to a particular set of creators.
